Questions
Do I need to be online at the pool?
No. Everything goes onto the headphones before you leave the house, which is just as well — they have no radio of their own, and neither does the deep end.
Which headphones work?
Shokz OpenSwim, OpenSwim Pro and SWIM PRO — the ones with storage built in. Anything that shows up as a USB drive will work too.
What happens if I stop paying?
Podlaps drops to the free plan and keeps working. Nothing gets deleted and nothing gets locked away.
Is there a Mac version?
Not yet. The same code compiles for a Mac, but it's never met a real pair of headphones on one, and shipping it like that would just be asking you to test it for me. Windows 10 and 11 for now.
